About Us

Darryl Deen is the founding president of D-Tech Consulting. Since in 1994, Darryl served as the primary consultant for D-Tech; managing projects and networks for companies of all sizes; from Compaq, Dell, Ministry of Health, WSIB, Unilever and the University of Toronto.

Darryl has been responsible for network rollouts for up to 11,000 computers across Ontario, managed teams nationwide and served as project manager for many software development projects.

Craig Foster has over 10 years experience working as a professional software developer. Craig started his career as an application developer at the Australian Bureau of Statistics working on in-house data intensive applications. In 2005 Craig moved to London where he worked for one of the largest companies in England, coding and testing an application used by some major players in the finance industry. On his return to Australia Craig continued to work in the finance industry developing fraud detection software that is now used by two of Australia's major banks.

Chris is currently our project manager responsible for major aspects of project development internally and with all our major clients.

Chris has joined us with ample experience working in key positions such as: Office Management for a third party automobile leasing company, and Manager of Office & Building Operations for one the largest clothing retail lines in North America.

Mark Simurda has held the position of Application/Software Developer at D-Tech Consulting since the beginning of 2008. His primary duties involve providing web programming and software development for D-Tech. Mark is our lead developer for all our Condominium related software. When Mark isn’t programming, he enjoys taking naps on the Go Train and standing in long lines

Louis has been with D-Tech Consulting since 2008 and started his IT career back in France 2000. This background in IT support and System Administration is a perfect fit for our technical support team. Louis has successfully completed numberous training seminars and certificates. His current responsibilities include managing our Small Business Client Server, Network and Computers.

Timothy Fettell is a senior support and network administrator. He holds a Bachelor degree in Information Technology and started out with Fujitsu, Australia. Over the years he has focused on the Microsoft Windows Server series specialising in Small Business Server and network implementations including implementing and supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems and office desktop programs. Tim currently holds his MCP and MSCE designations.

Jeff is an independent contractor specializing in brand strategy and corporate ID for small- to mid-sized companies. With over 25 years experience in advertising, Jeff has held roles in almost every aspect of the visual arts, from high-end typography in the years prior to the desktop computer, to art director and creative director at traditional and new media agencies. Recent clients include Rogers Sportsnet, Logitech, The British Film Institute, SNC Lavalin, H.I.T Fitness, McGregor Socks, and ACMO.
